NYU Steinhardt’s EdD in Leadership and Innovation intentionally gathers leaders from different backgrounds and across sectors to create a culture of cumulative learning where the most diverse perspectives are embraced.

- Each cohort begins with a multi-day in-person immersion on the NYU Steinhardt campus in New York City.
- All courses are grounded in research that is applied to actual issues encountered in your organization or field.
- Small courses (1:25 max) with purposeful groupings.
- This program is able to be completed at an accelerated pace of as few as 24 consecutive months.
- You’ll complete a practice-based capstone project called a “Problem of Practice” (POP) in place of a dissertation.

Cohorts move through each class and semester as a group, ensuring a community exists to support retention and completion.
